Birthday Post in Honour of Mum

Before purchasing this service, please read the following carefully. These terms and conditions help us run this initiative in a fair, realistic and sustainable way for the thousands of women we support each year.

Birthday Post Terms and Conditions

1. What the service includes
A birthday post created by MDA to honour your mum on her birthday in 2026.

The post will appear on our Instagram story and as a post on our Facebook Page for 24 hours only. Posts are not permanent and will not remain on our feed or on stories.

2. Scheduling and timing

All posts are published based on Australian AEST/AEDT time zones for the year 2026.

3. Your responsibility when submitting details
Please provide accurate details, including correct spelling of names and the correct date of birth. MDA is not responsible for errors caused by incorrect information provided to us.

Once posts are scheduled, we cannot revise or recreate them.

4. Annual renewal
The fee covers one year only. If you would like your mum’s birthday acknowledged again in future years, the service will need to be renewed annually.

5. Non-refundable fee
This service is non-refundable. The fee supports the design, administration and management of this initiative, helping us run it sustainably as a small Australian not for profit charity organisation.

This is a paid service, not a donation. Under Australian tax law, donations are only tax deductible when nothing is received in return. Because this service provides something in return, it cannot be claimed as a tax deductible donation.

6. Capacity and operational limitations
MDA operates with limited staff and volunteer support. By purchasing this service, you acknowledge that:

Delays may occasionally occur and that volunteer availability, illness, or unforeseen circumstances may impact scheduling.

While we will always do our best, we cannot guarantee perfection every single time.

7. Technology limitations
While we take great care with scheduling, occasionally technical issues outside our control (Meta outages, scheduling failures, upload errors, etc.) may prevent a post from publishing on time or at all.

We do not offer refunds for posts impacted by platform or technology issues, as these are outside our control.

8. Submissions from outside Australia
We welcome international submissions.
